SOUL MAGIC

In the organizer's words:

SOUL MAGIC is Leipzig's only pure Northern Soul party and has been taking place once a year since 2004 (with a few interruptions). Soul is timelessly good dance music that appeals to everyone - whether casual listeners, chance visitors or long-time fans. In the approximately two and a half minutes of a soul song, driving rhythms and catchy melodies are combined with the emotions that arise from the performers' vocals.

SOUL MAGIC exclusively (!) plays rather rare songs from original (!) vinyl singles, which are of course very danceable per se, but are difficult to find even today in the digital age and are therefore rarely heard. Three guest DJs from out of town (this year from Aachen, Lübeck and Munich) with many years of experience and an impressive collection of exciting records will be rocking or "souling" the Naumanns' dance hall from 21:30.
