Sound(g)arten: Henn Miller’s MusicVan

There is room for a few passengers in the back of this van. As soon as the car door is closed, a special kind of road trip begins. Henn Miller's MusicVan uses the car as a sound space, instrument, projection surface and stage. An improvised soundtrack of electronic and acoustic instruments and live loops of percussive sounds plays in the van. Engine noises, banging on windows, vibrations and sounds of metal and sheet metal create the impression of a musical journey that feels like a high-speed drive on the highway. It smells of freedom!

At Henn Miller's MusicVan, everyone drives their own movie. From individual TRIP enjoyment, where you get lost and only wake up dreamily when the door to reality opens again, to the collective experience of the insane road trip. Always new constellations, a new crew, plenty of room for improvisation in sound and vision; not only every single TRIP, but also every TRIP evening develops its own dynamic.
