Soundkuchen fans and friends, we have something in store for you...

On Sunday, May 18, 2025, the Soundkuchen will enter the next round at 3 pm and we are looking forward to the two artists VØR and ELLEN FROESE, who will provide the musical accompaniment to eating cake together.

Imagine: a Sunday straight out of a picture book - full of cake, music to let your soul soar and an atmosphere warmer than your favorite sweater. That's exactly what the sound cake is!

🎤Act 1: VØR - Lena Möller first appeared on the German pop music scene at the end of the 2010s under the name VØR. VØR's songs are a source of inspiration for a generation looking for artists who dare to be bold and address uncomfortable topics. With their dreamy, almost mystical pop, they clearly stand out from the usual indie sound. Bold synthesizer accents lend their music a unique, atmospheric depth.

🎤Act 2: ELLEN FROESE - Canadian Ellen Froese's music is characterized by folk, subtle country sounds and a pinch of classic rock'n'roll. She combines past and present with a warm voice and dry wit. Froese's music invites you to let go, to accept yourself with all your contradictions - and sometimes just to smile.


And this is how the sound cake works: We organize 2 relaxed acts for you, switch the coffee machine to extra tasty and free and prepare everything. Just come to the Kitchenclub at Superbude St. Pauli at 3 pm and make yourself comfortable. A contribution to the cake buffet is expected as admission - in whatever form. Sit down, listen, eat, enjoy ♥
