Abu Hajar is a Syrian-born hip hop artist and lyricist based in Kassel, where he creates a unique fusion of Arabic melodies and rap. As the founder of the group Mazzaj, he channels personal and collective experiences of exile, migration, and identity into his music. His work draws from everyday struggles, cultural memory, and social issues, using sharp lyrics and poetic rhythms to connect with diverse audiences. Performing across Europe, Abu Hajar brings raw energy and depth to the stage, crafting songs that speak to both individual resilience and broader societal change.

Enana is a trans non-binary rapper, singer-songwriter, and activist originally from Damascus, now based in Berlin. Since arriving in 2015, they have used hip hop as a platform to express their identity and advocate for social justice and queer emancipation. Their music blends rap, singing, and performance, incorporating various languages and genres, reflecting their diverse influences from both Damascus and Berlin

Taha is a rapper, lyricist and a music producer from Aleppo/Syria. He has been playing music since 2007 and founded the band ولادالعم wladalamm (the cousins) in Berlin 2016. Aiwa does produce electronic music as well, and has 5 albums released under his credit. Aiwa has had many collaborations with different artists from all over the world. Aiwa amalgamates postmodern prose, contemporary poetry, Arabic rap, and classical poetry: in doing so, it offers various imageries and concepts which draw from memory. The memory of Aiwa's music draws on, moreover, emanates from displacement, exile, nostalgia, and the politics of home and identity, which problematizes the path a marginalized people goes through. Aiwa believes Arabic rap has its own flavor, roots, and agenda. It has its unique approach to social criticism since it derives from the colloquial Arabic and unites the various dialects and streets.
