In May 2025, Faber Horbach will take to the stage with his unique music project Sowulo in a very special show. The sound world of Sowulo is inspired by the mysticism and philosophy of the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings and takes the audience on a profound, spiritual journey. "Faraþ intō Francrīce", which means "journey to the Frankish realm" in Old English, is the band's first headlining tour through Europe. Here, Sowulo will be stopping in cities that lie within the borders of the Frankish Empire, as it was during the early Middle Ages. They will be accompanied by Elektro Shaman as support. Sowulo's music follows the cyclical nature of life, exploring themes such as the connection to the sun, the cycles of day and night, the seasons, and birth and death - all from an animistic perspective. Using a blend of Old English and period instruments, Sowulo creates an atmosphere that invites both creators and audiences to delve into their own inner world and grasp the wisdom of cycles. The name "Sowulo" - "sun" in proto-Germanic - stands as a symbol for life and its constant changes. This evening will be more than just a concert; it will be an experience that deeply touches and challenges the listener.
