Dans Myth presents its new dance piece Sparkle Beasts under the choreographic direction of Daniel Smith.

Sparkle Beasts explores the complex facets of identity, dealing with the sometimes traumatic experiences of childhood and the profound effects on adult life.

Complex, dynamic movement sequences are juxtaposed with childlike movements, an emotional journey that is enhanced by the colorful, interactive artwork/designs by Rewert Remmers and Sirkka Vanessa Hogh.

The music composed by Milan Julius Philipp underlines the movements on the sound level.

Once the upper layers are removed, what lies beneath is revealed in a glittering or frightening way.

The piece dissolves the boundaries between dream and reality. With a surreal effect, a "queer self-image" appears.
