Sparkling originally formed while studying at university and art college in Cologne, Germany, where they gained a reputation for hot, heady and sweaty club shows live in their home country. A six-month move to London followed, where they soon collaborated with Andy Ramsayon of Stereolab for their debut EP, "I Want To See Everything"; a jagged, hard-hitting set of ten poppy-tinged post-punk songs that deservedly brought them international attention.
