Drama with music

One comes from a Prussian officer's family, the other is the child of a circus acrobat and a street singer. One changes her men like her wardrobe, the other always dreams of true love. One dies at the age of 91 and is the biggest star Germany has ever produced. When she died, France fell into national mourning and 40,000 people followed her coffin.
Edith Piaf, the "sparrow of Paris", and Marlene Dietrich, the "blue angel", meet in New York in 1948. From then on, the two divas formed an intense friendship. From their first meeting to Piaf's early death and Marlene's retreat to her Paris apartment, "Sparrow and Angel" combines the story of these two world stars with their unforgettable chansons, including: "La vie en rose", "Don't ask me why I'm leaving" or "Non, je ne regrette rien".
The songs form the central theme and make this impressive evening of theater a very special experience, which became a surprise hit at the Vienna Burgtheater and also delighted audiences in Graz, Frankfurt, Kiel and elsewhere.
