About the event

Summer is calling - and our Speakeasy Bar wants sun, greenery and a city park!

Here, too, we talk about everything that concerns us on a daily basis and discover that many things are full of political issues. Pack your favorite snacks and drinks, we'll bring blankets and palm trees.

Also new this time: Nathan from AGORA Hamburg is joining us and providing a special speakeasy corner. If you want, you can let off steam in front of the camera and explore and (perhaps) resolve a particular difference of opinion in more depth with a moderator.

Whether you are politically interested or simply curious - come along and join a colorful round on the lawn in the city park. We look forward to seeing you there!

The Speakeasy Bar is organized by polbi hamburg, a voluntary initiative in Hamburg. polbi stands for political education. We make political processes understandable with interactive offers. Through them, we and our fellow human beings learn to think critically, evaluate different perspectives and make self-determined decisions. In response to the question: "How can citizens become active - and in a way that makes it fun?", we answer: "Promote exchange, build political awareness and strengthen commitment."

AGORA Hamburg

The Special Speakeasy Corner is the result of a cooperation with AGORA Hamburg. This platform for public discussion is run by Nathan Buss and otherwise regularly organizes sessions at various locations in Hamburg, where the public is invited to take part in discussions on topics of all kinds. These discussions are then published on AGORA Hamburg's YouTube channel.
