For an incredible four years now, the FAIL IN LOVE NIGHTS have been bringing people together to talk about their experiences in love and draw new strength from them. Well over 100 speakers have already told their stories and more than 4,000 guests have laughed, cried and realized that they are not alone with their thoughts and feelings. The special edition of the FAIL IN LOVE NIGHTS in Cologne will therefore take place in a particularly beautiful location: at the Volksbühne am Rudolfplatz. This enchanting theater not only offers space for a large audience, but also creates an intimate atmosphere in which everyone feels welcome and understood. The beautiful and by the way also the oldest theater in Cologne offers space for the fantastic speakers of the evening: dating expert Pia Kabitzsch, comedian Serkan Ateş-Stein, drag queen Meryl Deep and author and podcast host Ricardia Bramley!

At the FAIL IN LOVE NIGHTS - Stories of Failure in Love on September 22, 2024, you will get the perfect mix of emotional, funny and helpful as always: two personal stories, relieving stand-up comedy and professional tips on how to make relationships work better in the long term or how to deal with challenges in life more easily. Pia Kabitzsch

is a psychologist, SPIEGEL bestselling author, podcaster, TEDx speaker and science journalist. She explains the psychology of dating on television, in social media, on stages such as FAIL IN LOVE NIGHT and in print media such as her own bestselling book "It's A Date!". As a dating expert, she helps people to date better and thus lay the foundation for a healthy relationship. At the FAIL IN LOVE NIGHTS special at the Volksbühne am Rudolfplatz in Cologne, Pia will be giving you trenchant tips to make your relationships a success.

Serkan Ateş-Stein

was born in the Ruhr area, steeled in a Catholic boys' boarding school, matured on stage, liberated in comedy - that's the comedian for the upcoming FAIL IN LOVE NIGHT. Serkan is touring the comedy scene with his debut program "The Schnörres is real". It deals with the everyday struggles of a digitalized generation between philistinism and smartphones. We stopped watching TV a long time ago, we stream. And we're becoming lonely in the analog world despite digital dating. In the past, if you wanted to have sex, you had to write at least one text message with 160 characters; today, you send an eggplant emoji. When Serkan sorts out the mess of his time, shame and guilt are his compass needles. Schnörres dances to his words through a world of sensory overload and procrastination, taking the punchlines to their extremes. Just like at the FAIL IN LOVE NIGHTS special on September 22 in Cologne!

Meryl Deep

grew up as a little girl in a small town in Baden-Württemberg. She knew early on that she wanted to go out into the world and didn't really fit into village life. Immediately after graduating from high school, she left the small town and set off for Berlin, true to the motto "You're crazy my child, you have to go to Berlin." Meryl not only made many courageous decisions back then, but also today. Not least when she quits her prestigious corporate job at Coca-Cola and embarks on a journey to the ashram in India with a crisis of meaning. Her life and her love life are characterized by courageous decisions. Courage to change and courage to come ever closer to her own purpose. In love, she has had several painful experiences that have shaped her and taught her a lot about love and life. After 8 years in a relationship, however, she knows that a successful partnership is possible and that love is worthwhile.

Ricardia Bramley
was born in England to an Irish mother and a Trinidadian father. She grew up partly in Germany and then moved to New York, where she lived for several years. Since 2020, the speaker and copywriter has also been the producer and host of the podcasts "Beziehungskarussell" and "Bitch, Breathe!", in which she talks in German and English about everything the bleeding and laughing heart desires. She has also written the book "The Breakup Call - breaking up and finding love" about breakups.
