Special screening of the documentary film THE THIRD BROTHER in cooperation with the Society for Christian-Jewish Cooperation in Göttingen.

About the film: Kathrin Jahrreiß follows the lives of three very different brothers: One made a career with the Nazis and retained a high status in West Germany, another fled to the USA and the third, her grandfather, remained in Dresden after the murder of his Jewish wife in order to help build a constitutional state as a lawyer after the war - until he was recruited by the Stasi. A personal search for clues that paints a complex picture of a German-Jewish family over three generations in several political systems.
