Wie die Liebe geht tells the story of the lives and loves of 4 couples in Germany over the course of 7 years. They start families, have to cope with everyday life, experience highs and lows and go through life-defining moments. For one couple, fate strikes unexpectedly and what remains are different forms or fragments of love, on which each of them can build anew. The fact that time passes relentlessly for everyone makes us wistful, but also hopeful: because the children remain and thrive and time can also heal wounds...

Wie die Liebe geht is an emotional and entertaining movie about the possibility and impossibility of love. 4 couples from Germany are followed in the development of their lives and relationships over 7 years. In the end, everything is different for everyone than it was at the beginning.
