SPELLLING is back, witches! Chrystia Cabral releases her new studio album "Portrait Of My Heart" on March 28th via Sacred Bones / Cargo. On Cabral's fourth album as SPELLLING, the Bay Area artist turns her acclaimed avant-pop project into a mirror. Her lyrics for "Portrait Of My Heart" deal with love, intimacy, fear and alienation, swapping the allegorical approach of much of her earlier work for something that, in her own words, "points into my human heart". The result is the most direct SPELLLING album to date, one whose immediacy underscores Cabral's versatility. From the dark minimalism of her earlier works to the lushly orchestrated prog-pop of 2021's acclaimed predecessor "The Turning Wheel" to this new energetic expression of her creative spirit, Cabral has proven time and again that SPELLLING can be whatever she needs it to be. And this time she needs guitars!

On June 16, 2025, SPELLLING and her band will play their only concert in Germany at Berlin's Lido.
