"The prerequisite for suitability is physical and mental health". A subordinate clause for some relegates many others to the sidelines. Yulia and Lucy also had to overcome countless hurdles on their way to the stage. Drama schools and ensembles blame each other for changes. But even when people with disabilities are given a chance, the theaters often face major challenges: Centuries-old structures have to be questioned, trainers have to learn. The film by Kim Münster and Sebastian Bergfeld playfully and cheerfully tells of a theater scene in transition and at the same time makes it clear that the stage is still a long way from being a true mirror of society.
