Short choreographies on the theme of "Dream" by and with dancers from all companies of the Leipziger Tanztheater

Curious, we dive into the fascinating world of dreams.
Falling out of reality, approaching the hidden, finding ourselves in moments beyond the regularities we know. Overwhelmed by the creations of our mind, we remain moved, confused or delighted and question this strangely irrational web of memories, emotions, wishes and impressions again and again.

Which dreams manage to remain in our consciousness as memories and in what mental or physical form do they find their expression? how much meaning do we give our dreams as a sign of our subconscious? How do dreams influence our consciousness and actions in our waking state? What content do we purposefully take with us into reality and what do we repress? When do we draw inspiration and where can it unfold?

Whether detailed or vague,
real or bizarre,
this year's Spielwiese takes us on a dreamlike journey with its short plays, exploring the infinite landscapes of our minds.
