Only bad headlines, too ugly, nothing going on, too uncool. Nadia Aboulwafi and Christin Latniak want to change these clichés about the Ruhr region with their podcast Zwischen Gellek & Duisi ! They come from the Ruhr region themselves and constantly defend their home towns of Gelsenkirchen and Duisburg to other people. In the podcast, they go in search of inspiring people and third places with a community feel. Behind this is the young culture magazine STROBO, which has set itself the task of giving the young cultural scene in the Ruhr area a voice.
