Alongside Stromae, Lost Frequencies and Gotye, artist Warhaus, the solo project led by Maarten Devoldere, is considered an indispensable Belgian export hit. In 2016, the singer/songwriter, who until then had mainly been heard as co-singer and guitarist in the band Balthazar, launched his solo career with Warhaus.
His fourth album "Karaoke Moon" was released in fall 2024. The first single "Where The Names Are Real" suggests a very dreamy, thoughtful album. Warhaus talks about his first great love in spoken word style, accompanied by haunting background vocals. Urgency has generally been a trademark of Warhaus from the very beginning, and this is something that is also evident on album number four. It's a similar story with the Belgian's live shows, three of which are scheduled in Germany next March.
