Stader Altstadtfest

Every year in June, the Stade Old Town Festival guarantees an eventful weekend: Live entertainment on the stages and streets of the old town until late into the night, good humor and conviviality as well as a wide range of culinary delights against a magnificent backdrop.

The stage spectacle is rounded off by a varied family program, ranging from a Punch and Judy show to an arts and crafts market and an open-air church service. Shopping fans get their money's worth on Thursdays at the traditional "Hökern und Handeln", where you can haggle like in Hanseatic times, and enjoy the Sunday shopping to the full at the end of the weekend.
