Witchcraft trials in the early modern period varied greatly from region to region in terms of the intensity of persecution, the grounds for denunciation and the course of proceedings. The city tour provides an insight into court practice in Leipzig and local legal developments. In addition, individual trials that took place in Leipzig between 1479 and 1730 are presented.
