Stadtspaziergang: Bernhard Hoetger

In the organizer's words:

This guided walk through Hoetger Park in Hörde focuses on the sculptures of Dortmund artist Bernhard Hoetger (1874-1949). Hoetger initially completed an apprenticeship as a stonemason before studying at the Düsseldorf Art Academy around 1900. Bremen and Worpswede were important stages in his career. But his home town of Dortmund is also home to some of his works, including the park named after him on the Emscherpromenade.
