Stadtspaziergang: Führung im Städel und in der Frankfurter Innenstadt

A place of faith and the coronation church of the German emperors: St. Bartholomew's Cathedral is a characteristic part of the Frankfurt skyline. Paintings in the Städel Museum provide a view of the building even before the upper section of the cathedral was destroyed in a fire in 1867 and the dome was replaced by a tower. A visit to the Städel roof offers a view of the cathedral from the southern bank of the Main before the city walk takes you to the historic building.
