The district tour presents six selected locations where camps and workplaces of forced laborers were located during the National Socialist era.
The focus is not only on explaining the functional aspects of the camps, but also on the everyday life of the forced laborers: What work did they have to do and what everyday threats were they exposed to? How were they cared for and what reactions from the German population to the camps and the foreign forced laborers are known?
Meeting point: 11:00 am in the courtyard of Plant 2 at Connewitzer Kreuz (duration approx. 1½ hours to Neue Linie, Auwald)
