Stadtwanderung von Buchforst auf den Kalkberg

In the organizer's words:

City hike from Buchforst to the Kalkberg

We start in the Blauer Hof settlement on the former Kalker Feld, now Buchforst. We walk through the Weiße Stadt to Kalk. Urban art by Bossmanni and Onkel Dose accompanies us on the way from Baufeld12 to the Evangelical Hospital. We continue to the old Sünner colliery brewery. Passing the Kalker Kapelle chapel, we reach the former Humboldt machine factory. The CFK water tower is an architectural landmark of Kalk and shows us the way back to Buchforst. On the small Kalkberg hill, we scrutinize the current urban development and enjoy the view over Cologne at the end of our city walk.
