Stadtwanderung von Mauenheim zur Niehler Rheinaue

In the organizer's words:

City walk from Mauenheim to the Niehler Rheinaue

We start in Mauenheim. We walk along the elevated railroad to the mural "The Sky Dancer". In the Grüner Hof and the Nibelungensiedlung, we immerse ourselves in the social housing of the 1920s. We continue via the Nordfriedhof cemetery with its beautiful old trees. In Weidenpesch we meet the furniture manufacturer Jakob Pallenberg. With the Madonna im Grünen chapel and the Erlöserkirche church, we show you two different and at the same time modern churches. We continue through the racecourse grounds to Niehl. Passing the Niehler Dömchen, we reach the Rheinaue - a beautiful end to our city walk.

• Destination: Niehl Sebastianstr. (KVB line 16)
