The multidisciplinary music theater performance "Stand up straight and sing! Voices of Color - a tribute" celebrates the empowerment of important POC singers and makes their voices visible and audible. The versatile singer and dancer Isabel Wamig, together with a team of music, video art, costume and stage designers and other POC women from Essen, NRW and Germany, brings history to life and connects it with the present.

Billie Holiday, Josephine Baker, Camilla Williams, Beyoncé and her sisters from yesterday and today create a lively and powerful celebration of diversity.
