This evening is in the spirit of Mick Jagger and co. We are talking about the STARFUCKER - the best Rolling Stones tribute band in the world. This is not only claimed by Mike Kilian, better known to many as the singer of "Rockhaus". If you want the spirit of Jagger, Richards and co. to come over you, there is only one alternative to the original: STARFUCKER
The name says it all: the repertoire of "Starfucker" includes the greatest hits of the old rockers around Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. "Satisfaction", "Start me up", "Angie" and many more bring back memories of great times.
Founded in 1989 and barely distinguishable from the Rolling Stones original, the guys around singer and guitarist Mike Kilian put on a magnificent show. Die-hard Stones fans attest that no other Stones cover band is as close to the original. The class that "Starfucker" develops has even made well-known stars such as Tom Jones, Bryan Adams and "Slade" sit up and take notice - after all, "Starfucker" have already played with them. Their status as the opening act for Sweet, Slade, Searschers, Jennifer Rush, Heinz Rudolf Kunze and Udo Lindenberg also proves that these guys really have what it takes. Wherever they play, there is thunderous applause and calls for encores from all corners. Charismatic frontman Mike Kilian - rarely at a loss for a cheeky remark - fires up the audience and plays the roles of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards so perfectly that even the Rolling Stones would have to take their hats off.
In terms of voice and singing, Mike Kilian is a great anyway; it's not for nothing that he plays and sings one of the leading roles in the musical "Yesterday" in Berlin and Hamburg and accompanied Sabrina Setlur's German tour as a backing singer. The songs all come across as rocking, hard and loud, but still have a certain "personal touch".
That's why Mike Kilian and his Starfucker are once again paying tribute to the "greatest rock band in the world" this year. Unfortunately, we can't afford the Rolling Stones, but that's no reason to worry. There is an alternative - not quite as expensive, but just as good - or better?
