In the organizer's words:

Start with a Friend creates personal encounters between people - in 1:1 tandems and local communities.
We bring together people from different countries with and without refugee and/or immigration experience.

Our vision is an active immigration society that embraces its diversity.
All people feel recognized and have an equal say in shaping it.
We promote personal encounters, qualified engagement and spaces for education, participation and empowerment.
In this way, we make it easier to arrive, strengthen people, social cohesion and democracy.

In Munich, you can become a tandem partner as well as part of the community and take part in our regular events.
At the information evenings, you will learn more about the program and we will answer any questions you may have.
