The US band State Champs represent a new generation of pop-punk and were described by Billboard in 2020 as "torchbearers of modern pop-punk". Their debut album "The Finer Things", released in 2013, received a five-star review from Kerrang! and landed the band on the cover of Rock Sound and Alternative Press respectively. Their album "Around The World And Back", released in 2015, reached number 3 in the Billboard Current Rock Album Charts and, as one of the "Rock Sound Top 10 Albums of 2015", dispelled any last doubts that the band was on the verge of a great career. In 2016, the music video for "If I'm Lucky" was nominated for "Best Music Video" at the Alternative Press Music Awards, while "Secrets" received a nomination for "Song Of The Year". Rooted in pop-punk, State Champs became an "arena-ready" rock band, enjoying absolute headliner status themselves after touring with bands such as Parkway Drive, A Day To Remember, Creeper, Neck Deep and New Found Glory. On their EUROPEAN WINTER 2025 tour, State Champs have two exciting support acts with them in Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin: The Home Team & Broadside.
