Chaos in the village of animals

As if there wasn't already enough going on in the village of animals. First the goat's birthday is forgotten, then a wolf shows up, old and with only one tooth. The whole animal world is excited, but the hen is also very curious. Because he wants to cook a stone soup, the wolf. Can you put celery in it? "Yes, you can, it gives a certain flavor," he says. And in concern for their roommate, horse, duck, pig and goat also come by. Will the police dog find the right solution? And what is he actually up to, the wolf?

From the wonderful children's book "Stone Soup" by the French author and illustrator Anaïs Vaugelade (in the German translation by Tobias Scheffel), Bernd Kohlhepp and Roland Mahr have knitted a play for the whole family. About living together, about prejudices, about idiosyncrasies and vanities, but above all about friendship. For those starting out in life at the end of their daycare career, for youngsters at the beginning of their school career, for parents who have always wanted to go to the theater, for grandparents and all dreamers who ask themselves questions about a good life together.
