Jazz is an allegory for life, for striving for independence, for one's own language and one's own path. Stephanie Lottermoser has always remained true to this intention with her grooving synthesis of jazz, soul and pop, clear compositional lines, catchy melodies, emotional appeal and subtle virtuosity. Her music stands on its own and reveals everything from fine lines and lush grooves to extended improvisations in all their intensity.

On her albums and at her concerts, the award-winning saxophonist and singer emphasizes the liberation from jazz stereotypes and the search for her own authentic language and its constant further development. The press celebrates her as a "power woman as she is written in the book, a self-confessed feminist and a popular figure" who creates an intimate and captivating atmosphere with her music. Hamburg has been her adopted home for six years now, and from here she has recently toured Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Ghana, the Ivory Coast, England and Kenya.
