A cosmic city tour in a 360° film

Get to know famous astronomical places in Potsdam as well as important - and forgotten - personalities in this 360° film: Bruno Hans Bürgel was a pioneer of astronomy education and a famous Babelsberger in the first half of the 20th century. Follow in his footsteps with us.

Important astronomical buildings such as the Great Refractor and the Einstein Tower bear witness to an eventful history of research. Today, institutes such as the Albert Einstein Institute and the Astrophysical Institute Potsdam work with state-of-the-art instruments and a global network.

At the end of the show, we will show you the starry sky over Potsdam and explain which constellations and planets can currently be seen.
