Stand-up comedy & slam poetry
with Janka Partisanka and Olli Schumann
Perfectly made-up, deeply relaxed women who smile every day as they cut out brother's hearts for their children, never grumble about socks left behind by their husbands and also work completely stress-free... A utopia for Janka and Olli. Because in their world, the two women do one thing above all: fail. At being parents, at married life and quite often at themselves. But always with style, coolness and dark circles under their eyes!
Janka Partisanka is a stand-up comedian. Born in the GDR, she grew up in Jena and learned Russian in order to rebel against her parents. As she was very ambitious, she immediately got a Russian husband and a superstitious mother-in-law. From her children's Russian accent, to her ambivalent relationship with Einstein's theories, to her Eastern complex - personal failures have many facets, but always a punchline.
Olli Schumann is a slam poet and stand-up comedian. She was born in Kazakhstan and moved to Germany with her family in the mid-90s. At 1.61 m tall, she packs a lot of escalation potential into her garden gnome height when the everyday madness comes crashing down on her - children, husband, high shelves in the supermarket. And so she balances daily between positive thinking and riot, always with the motto of life - humor is when a woman laughs anyway.
An entertaining evening with Olli and Janka and their success stories about failure. Charming, intelligent and sometimes bitterly angry.
