Vibe
The Urban Socks show how an "everything always works out somehow" mentality and five drastically different characters can result in emotional indie rock.
The songs deal with themes of friendship, self-discovery and love and unleash feelings ranging from painful intensity to liberating energy at live concerts. The audience fluctuates between waving a lighter, lying in each other's arms and occasionally shedding a tear, to euphorically roaring along and instigating the odd mosh pit.
The deep friendship between them and the chaos energy spills over from the stage directly into the audience, so that all the guests become a family for the evening.
Energetic, humorous, slightly quirky and undoubtedly authentic, "The Urban Socks" embody a charming and fresh spirit in the newcomer scene.
