Classic Prog'n'Roll
Is there actually a musical "best" from the 70s, 80s, 90s...?
Surely there isn't ... the "best", because there is sooo much good music!
And there is X-it!
X-it ... the band that presents carefully hand-picked titles from the "classic rock" genre. The five boys do this in an excitingly exciting and unagitatedly cool way - without any pathetic bombast, but at the same time with an irrepressible joy of playing that is immediately transferred to the audience at every performance: "As modest as they pretend to be, there is a tension in the air at the Südbahnhof right from the start when X-it comes on stage. The audience is blown away by the emotional interpretation of the songs." (Frankfurter Rundschau)
This is not surprising, because the 5 musicians play the music they like themselves!
In addition to classics from "Saga" and "Queen", from "Pink Floyd" and "Manfred Mann's Earthband" - garnished with hits from other artists of this brilliant era - such as "David Bowie" and "Huey Lewis" and many more, the five gentlemen serve up highlights from "Peter Gabriel" such as "Solsbury Hill" and "Sledgehammer" as well as "Genesis" hits such as "Land Of Confusion" and "Invisible Touch".
X-it presents top-class progressive classic rock in a cheeky, fresh, unspent way, sometimes boldly rocking, sometimes more ethno-softly oriented, but always original and a lot of fun for the audience.
