Due to the reconstruction of Steintorplatz, the fabric market has moved to Schützenplatz. On May 10, traders will once again be selling textile fabrics and haberdashery at over 100 stands. Suppliers from other German states will also be presenting their range.

For a long time, fabric markets were considered a Dutch phenomenon. Stoffmarkt Holland, one of the largest events, has also been touring German cities since 2004 and is attracting large numbers of visitors - especially as the art of handicrafts has been very popular again for some time.

Trendy goods to sew yourself

The latest fabrics and haberdashery are on offer at over 100 Dutch and German stands. The result is a colorful mix that caters to both unusual and classic tastes. The goods on offer include women's and children's fabrics, curtains, home textiles, decorative fabrics, quilting and patchwork fabrics, upholstery fabrics, patterns and haberdashery.
