Five maids, Anne, Tillie, Clara, Flo and Effie, emerge from their shadowy existence in this English comedy of the year 2022 and take the audience on a wild ride through Jane Austen's classic novel from 1813 - peppered with pop songs from the last few decades. The five lead us through the illustrious worlds of their (more or less) rich masters - and play all the roles in the process: The five self-confident, unmarried daughters of the Bennet family as well as their mother, but also their (more or less) famous marriage candidates: The 'sleazy' Cousin Collins, the 'amiable' Charles Bingley or the 'negativity-prone' Fitzwilliam Darcy and many more.
