STRANDKÖRBE OHNE VENEDIG - Thomas Kunst liest aus seinem Roman

On the eve of the Leipzig Book Fair, Thomas Kunst will read from his novel STRANDKÖRBE OHNE VENEDIG, which is being published in a new edition by kul-ja! publishing:

Bengt Claasen works as a field editor for a fiction publisher on the north German coast. In the evenings after 7 p.m., he consistently gets drunk and plays his favorite music to complete strangers over the phone. One day he receives a manuscript of poems by Yda Scholbing and writes a scathing review of it. The disturbing beauty of these poems leads Claasen, for the first time in his life, to no longer see his solid loss on the coast as salvation.

Peter Gischke interviews the author, and The Cacti Shadows (Jörn Hühnerbein and Thomas Kunst) play cover songs, possibly better than the original.
