Dancing was our favorite pastime: Free dance project at St.-Anna-Platz!

A dance-based search for traces of play and workplaces in post-war Munich:

• Dance meets history - to join in!
• Experience contemporary stories in motion
• Explore St. Anna Square with all your senses
• Become part of a spontaneous dance action

No previous experience necessary - just come along!

The historical background to this special dance project:

After 1945, Munich lay in ruins and children and young people turned the city into their land of adventure. They roamed through the ruins, helped with the reconstruction and invented games from what little they had. This wandering and exploring comes to life in our dance project.

Together we will embark on a journey into the past and explore how young people moved through post-war Munich. What stories are hidden in St. Anna-Platz? And what do these places mean today?

Experience St.-Anna-Platz as a historical meeting place and a place of new beginnings - with dance, movement and creative energy.
