Street Art Lesungen mit Nasima Razizadeh & Jan Schillmöller

In the organizer's words:

Literary walk to street art locations in the Belgian Quarter

We are going on another tour to exciting street art locations in the Belgian Quarter in Cologne. Each tour will feature two authors who have taken a literary approach to individual works of art in public spaces. Together with the authors, we go from artwork to artwork and listen to the texts directly on site - in the middle of the city. Experienced street art guide Sascha Klein will provide information about the district and the artworks along the route.

Nasima Sophia Razizadeh, born in Frankfurt am Main in 1991, is a poet. Notable places of residence are or were Cologne, Vienna and Edinburgh. Her debut 'Sprache und Meer' (Matthes & Seitz Berlin/ Rohstoff) was published in 2023. Her first volume of poetry, 'Die Goldwaage', will be published by Wallstein Verlag in summer 2024.

Jan Schillmöller studied design, media practice and literature in Wuppertal, Vienna and Leipzig. He writes prose, essays and reportage. He is currently working on a collection of texts entitled Arbeit am Konjunktiv.

The meeting point is at a central point in the Belgian Quarter and will be announced.

This event is supported by the Cultural Office of the City of Cologne.
