What awaits you

Create decorative structures and learn how to work with colors and textures. Using the Imapsto technique, you will place specific structural elements on your canvas and create beautiful abstract compositions. You will design your own color palette and create your own individual textured painting with the help of effect paints, palette knives and cellulose.

What you will learn

Acrylic:

Acrylic paint is a real all-rounder! When applied thinly, it can be used to create watercolor effects; when applied thickly, it creates a high color intensity. It can be diluted with water, dries quickly, is odorless and waterproof when dry.

Structure (napkin technique):

The texture technique is a very effective method of giving a work of art an interesting and unique surface. In this technique, napkins are placed on the canvas to create raised elements. These can be painted over later, adding intriguing texture and depth to the artwork.

Pastos:

The pastose application of paint, also known as the impasto technique, can usually be recognized by the relief-like application of the paint. It is an application of paint that you can often not only see, but even feel. This technique involves applying the paint as thickly and opaquely as possible.

- High-quality canvas, stretched on a stretcher frame (30 cm x 40 cm, primed)

- 2 flat brushes

- 1 round brush

- Spatula card

- 12 high-quality acrylic paints

- easel

- ArtNight apron

You will of course take your painted picture home with you, all other materials are for on-site use only.
