Midnight Poets Club [Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm]

The indie rock band Midnight Poets Club, founded in December 2022 in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and the surrounding area, combines indie pop and rock to create an unmistakable sound. Their music, characterized by rushing guitar riffs and heartbreaking ballads, is influenced by artists such as Backseat Lovers, Vacations, Arctic Monkeys, Girl in Red and Francis,. With their debut single "Double Faced Snake" (December 2023) and the follow-up "Paradiso in Terra" (May 2024), they demonstrate their musical skills. Two wins at the Saitensprung Band Contest and appearances at the IndieG Festival mark their successes to date.

aNNika [Vienna]

In her current program, the Viennese singer-songwriter aNNika combines diverse sounds and vocal colors with various instruments and a wide range of emotions. Rough and distorted electric guitar sounds, powerful and explosive vocals, lyrics that stir as well as calm and inspire more. From emotional head voice passages to gentle piano sounds to a shrutibox sound carpet interwoven with polyphonic vocals. Since 2022, aNNika has been playing excerpts from her last album LUV in solo and duo formations and giving an insight into what has come since. "Get in, fasten seatbelts, no escape, no escape."

Host: Robert Wildfeuer [Munich]
Our wonderful host Robert Wildfeuer will lead the evening: as "The Wildfire", the likeable singer-songwriter with his trademark Santa Fe hat has been delighting audiences in Munich and beyond for years! His songs are sometimes melancholy or he sings about love, reflects on life and social issues, but often his lyrics are also characterized by a good dose of humour. His music has its roots in the USA and contains elements of folk, country and rock.
