Cologne Südstadtfest 2025: Cologne's most beautiful city festival celebrates its 11th birthday!

It's that time again! The legendary Südstadtfest celebrates its 11th birthday this year and transforms Cologne's Südstadt into a vibrant festival mile. The event has long been regarded as the most beautiful city festival in Cologne - and quite rightly so!

Right in the heart of Südstadt, between Chlodwigplatz and Bonner Wall, the pure Cologne attitude to life takes center stage for two days. Together with Rutwiess Events, the ABC interest group organizes the largest and most popular city festival in the cathedral city. This year supported by the Rewe Group.

Whether partying, rocking, swinging, laughing or strolling - everyone gets their money's worth here! Bonner Straße becomes a vibrant festival zone and attracts visitors from all over Cologne and the surrounding area.

Cuisine & lifestyle - variety for all the senses Street food lovers can look forward to a wide selection of delicacies, plus Cologne's tastiest Aperol Spritz, Sarti and refreshing cocktails and, of course, freshly tapped Reissdorf Kölsch. The local stores of Südstadt are represented with their own stands, while smaller manufacturers and retailers present unique products from the areas of fashion, design, jewelry and lifestyle. A special highlight: the popular wine garden around the banana island, where our winegrowers will be serving their best wines. The associations of Südstadt will also be presenting their projects again this year.

Fun for the whole family Even the youngest visitors won't miss out! A large children's area with lots of activities ensures enthusiasm and plenty of fun.

Music & entertainment - Cologne's best live acts A rousing program awaits guests from 13:00 on the main stage on Bonner Wall. Live acts, top DJs and popular bands guarantee musical highlights. Saturday evening belongs to the beats, when Cologne's best DJs enchant the Südstadt with club sounds. On Sunday, popular Cologne bands such as King Loui and Lupo provide unforgettable moments. But that's not all - there are more surprises to come! The entire line-up will be announced at the end of May.

Fashion & trends: The big Südstadt fashion show Another highlight on Sunday is the traditional Südstadt fashion show, where talented designers and fashion labels from Cologne's Südstadt district present their latest collections.
