The South Tyrolean Christmas takes the audience to a region that still celebrates Christmas in its original way, with glittering lights, white mountain landscapes and a romantic pre-Christmas atmosphere. Festive folk music, wintry stories and contemplative poems from the South Tyrolean mountains bring this very special atmosphere to the Isarphilharmonie.

The "Trentino Mountaineering Choir - Coro della SOSAT" dedicates itself to the typical folk music from the northern Italian mountains with songs from Trentino and Veneto. In addition to "La Montanara", many other well-known Christmas folk and mountain songs can be heard this afternoon. The popular BR presenter Traudi Siferlinger will lead through the program.
