Timo Pankau - Coastal folk from the deepest soul

Timo Pankau's music tells of places, people and encounters that have shaped him. Inspired by the Australian folk scene and the coasts of Europe, his coastal folk combines the vastness of the ocean with the closeness of honest, thoughtful lyrics. His songs are about what moves him - and all of us: about closeness and distance, longing, love, connection and humanity. With around 80 concerts a year, he is an integral part of the European live scene. He has already played at festivals such as the Pangea Festival (with Giant Rooks, Alice Phoebe Lou, Milliarden), the Zuparken Festival, the Tag am Meer Festival and the Surfana Festival in the Netherlands. His musical journey began as a street musician in Byron Bay, where he grew up alongside artists such as Ziggy Alberts. In Germany, he shared the stage with other international musicians such as Felipe Baldomir. NDR Radio (GER) and Bay.FM Byron Bay (AUS) have also reported on him. In 2025, Timo Pankau is going on tour with new songs - driven by the distance and yet so approachable, he turns the stage into his living room and takes his audience on a journey.
