Sun Salutations + Heart Opening

Start your week with fresh, focused energy and an open heart. The class begins with 18 flowing sun salutations in harmony with the breath. Sun salutations generate warmth in the body and provide you with clarity, structure, and focus. Then, step by step, we open the heart space with gentle to powerful backbends, paying mindful attention to the alignment of the body. All levels are welcome. Variations allow you to adjust the intensity to your individual practice. The class ends with a regenerating phase that calms the body and mind so that you can relax and enjoy the rest of your day. This sequence is a loving invitation to open yourself up to (self-)connection and clarity.
