Superscamp - Tribute to Supertramp

In the organizer's words:

superscamp .... only a small difference

The British rock band Supertramp was certainly one of the most influential and successful bands in the world in the 1970s and 1980s.

The typical Supertramp sound, with Wurlitzer electric piano and the different vocal styles of the two masterminds Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson, is familiar to practically everyone who experienced this period.

And John Helliwell adds a special touch with his saxophone and clarinet. The Superscamp band mainly draws on the "classic phase" (1974 to 1983). None of the big hits such as The Logical Song, Give A Little Bit, School, Bloody Well Right or It's Rainging Again are missing. With Superscamp, six musicians have come together to interpret the songs of Supertramp with a lot of stage experience and a love of music. The band came together in 2021 during the coronavirus lockdown during the production of several split screen videos, in which Supertramp soon became very clear as the common denominator.

"Superscamp Live" is now planned for 2025, together with the fans!
