Swing Machine - Lindy Hop Tanzabend mit Live Musik

With fantastic swing music from Laney and the Snappy Rhythm Gang from Stuttgart, we will once again transform our café into a New York ballroom of the 1920s, where you can swing and dance all evening long! Swing dancing has its origins in the Afro-American culture of the 20s to 40s, the style combines freedom, individuality and creativity.

Whether you have no previous experience or are already an advanced dancer: this time there are two workshops before the dance party begins. The taster workshop from the Jazzlin swing dance school will teach you the basics. At the Lindy Hop Musicality workshop with the band, even experienced dancers can learn something new! The workshops start at 19:30, last approx. one hour and are on a donation basis (12-15€ recommended).

After the workshops, you can dance openly to live music from 20:30 and indulge in the vibrant world of swing. Let the groove infect you, get your skirts out of the cupboards, polish your shoes and let's swing!
