On the last weekend in June, a lovingly designed yoga room in Mannheim-Feudenheim will open its doors for a special art exhibition: artist Mella Warncke will be showing her colorful, sensually touching paintings. Her works not only appeal to the eye - they reach the heart and soul.
Mella Warncke, born and raised on the Baltic coast, has lived in southwest Germany for over twenty years. She works full-time as a speech therapist and accompanies children and adults on their path to language - a job that is reflected in her fine perception and pronounced empathy. This sensitivity also characterizes her artistic work.
Sport and creative design have been part of her life since childhood. Painting, in particular, is a source of inner strength for her and a deep way of finding herself. Her art emerges from a state of contemplation and self-connection, often guided by her synesthetic perception, the experience of colors as emotional and sensual states.
"I love painting when heart and soul guide the brush," is how Mella Warncke describes her creative process. Her paintings arise from stillness, joie de vivre and inner movement. They act like windows into a colorful inner world that is both deeply personal and universal.
The exhibition invites you to experience this special energy. Visitors can look forward to a selection of works that radiate calm, depth, powerful femininity and lightness at the same time. There is also the opportunity to talk to the artist in person.
