Tabla and Strings - Reunited

Here, western and eastern sounds merge into a homogeneous unity.

The combination of instruments is unusual - the sound is surprising! Mandocello meets American banjo playing, accompanied by Indian tabla sounds and jazzy guitar sounds. The result is music that spans new worlds.

In Goodman's compositions, these elements, which complement and fertilize each other in a playful way, are interwoven. Sophisticated rhythms, floating sounds of shimmering strings and the dark mysticism of sustained harmonies flow into a work of sound art of extraordinary depth and charisma.

Composed themes contrast with audibly free improvisations, flowing ragas alternate with groove-oriented pieces or compositions inspired by jazz or folk.
