When the meerkat Tafiti meets the river pig Pinsel, an accident happens. Tafiti's grandfather is bitten by a snake. Only the legendary blue flower, which is said to have magical healing powers, can save him. Tafiti wants to find the flower and save his grandpa. To do so, he has to undertake a long journey through the desert - alone. But the lonely paintbrush won't let go of Tafiti and follows him wherever he goes. On their long journey, they face many challenges and encounter a number of desert animals: Friends and foes. During their many adventures, Tafiti and Pinsel develop an unforgettable friendship. Meanwhile, you get an exciting insight into the lives of various desert animals.
